Welcome Baby Hadleigh!

Stacy, Jeremy and Audrey Bullcoming welcomed the newest addition to their family Wednesday, March 18th at 12:05pm. Even though she was 3 weeks early she is healthy and doing great. Brandon, Peyton and I made a quick trip to Kansas City last night to see everyone and to meet our new niece and Peyton's cousin.

6lbs 14oz and 19 1/2 inches long
It is still too hard to tell but I think that Hadleigh really looks like Stacy

I am so very proud of my sister. She went through a long 24 hours of waiting so we could meet this beautiful baby girl. Don't hate me Stacy because I put this picture up...I think that you look great!

All of us with Hadleigh! Peyton was happy to meet her cousin and would reach out to grab for her so we had to make sure to keep her hands far enough way

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Happy St. Patty's Day to everyone!
Peyton had a very excited day yesterday full with lots of activities. The home daycare that Peyton goes to is located next to the local Zoo here in Manhattan and when I picked her up on Monday they asked if it would be okay to take her to the Sunset Zoo on Tuesday. Of course I had no problems with that and if anything I was so jealous that I was not able to get out and enjoy the gorgeous weather that we had here yesterday. Renate told me that Peyton was wonderful and had a great time looking around at all the animals. I had already planned to take Peyton to the Zoo next weekend and I am glad that she had such a great time and I know that she will love going again this time with Mom and some of her friends.
Peyton has now graduated from being an army crawler to crawling up on her knees! Last night I watched her get up on her knees and slowly move forward and then it was like...I can do this and look how much faster I am!
Baby kisses! Peyton is now giving us kisses. They might be open mouth, but a kiss is a kiss and I will take one anytime. On Monday Brandon was hanging out with Peyton before bed and was asking her for a kiss. He would pucker up and wait for her to lean in to give him a kiss. Last night at the baseball game I was doing the same thing with her to see if she was really giving kisses and sure enough I puckered up and she would lean in and give me a kiss. I love it!!!!
Finally after a month of waiting and having a few nights of gum pain...Peyton's right top front tooth has broke through the gums! She is handling it all so much better then I thought that she would...Peyton is one tough girl!

Get ready...It's a long post!

Since I have not updated in a couple of weeks this is going to be a long post since we have been very busy and lots of pictures to share. Hope you like it!

Here Brandon and Peyton are talking with Grandma and Grandpa Yoder with the webcam. Thanks Uncle Drew for letting us use yours so Peyton can talk and see you all. We try to get on there every night if we can so Grandma and Grandpa can see her.
What a cute little bug!

Two weekends ago we went over to our friends house to celebrate their daughter Aubrey's 1st Birthday. Aubrey is a month and 2 days older then Peyton and they have a great time together. Peyton and Aubrey will be spending more and more time together this spring at baseball games (her Dad is the baseball operations manager) It is a lot of fun to get Peyton with Aubrey and Colten and when we can we have lots of play dates.

I can't believe that they both are looking at the camera
The Tadtman kids can't get enough of Peyton!
Peyton is not sure how to take all the love that Colten and Aubrey give her just yet
Aubrey finally got in there to give Peyton a hug.

Last Saturday Manhattan had their St. Patty's Day parade in Aggieville. Katie and I took the kids to see just what it was all about and we all had a great time. The weather was so nice and the kids really seemed to like it.

Peyton's view of the parade
Mom and Peyton having a great day down in Aggieville for the parade
Moro street was packed with tons of people. The parade was a lot of fun and something that we will have to do every year
After the parade we headed to the ballpark to watch K-State play Butler in a double header. It was a long day and Peyton was wiped out from the morning fun. We are so lucky that we get to sit in the suites that Peyton has a great place to take a nap in her stroller.
My happy girl! She looks so cute and I love her in green.
The next three pictures are of Peyton and Aubrey playing together. How well do they play together?
Peyton has the toy paddle...
Aubrey is stealing the paddle...
Aubrey took the paddle!
I just have to laugh every time Peyton plays with her toys because they are always everywhere. Most of the time I am laughing while I am picking them up every night.

Hope all these pictures help for the long delay on my posting!

11 months old...count down to 1st Birthday!

Peyton turned 11 months old on Monday!
The past month has been so much fun watching Peyton learn to do so many new things that I wish I had a video camera attached to my hand at all times to capture all of it. Crawling is getting better and faster everyday and we are almost getting up onto our knees now. Excitement and cheer brings on the clapping. Peyton is getting 4 of her top teeth coming in all at once. I have been a little worried, but we have only had 2 bad nights and after I put the Orajel on her gums she went right to sleep. When Peyton was younger all she wanted to do was stand up and now that she can we have a case of the rubber legs. It is funny to watch! One thing that I can always count on is getting a smile. Peyton has one of the best smiles and it makes me so happy.
There is all sorts of baby talk these days but not much that we can understand.
Here are a few words that we have heard are:
Da Da (Brandon is loving this!)
Hi
Yeah
This morning I heard a lot of Na Na

Peyton Allison at 11 months
Look how big my little girl is getting!
Big Smiles...I love her!!!
We have been very busy planning Peyton's 1st Birthday and I am having a hard time knowing that it is almost here. I have been looking back at all of her month pictures and now I know that I need to post a baby parade. Really where has this year gone???

Elmo is the new favorite toy

Peyton's favorite toy right now is Elmo! Brandon and I got her this toy at Christmas, because while we were visiting our friends the Hoyt's their son Carter had one and she really loved it. If you move Elmo's mouth he talks to you and Peyton thinks that it is the funniest thing. She will pick Elmo up and shake him over and over again to hear him giggle and talk to her. It truly is funny to watch her do this. I am working on getting a video of it so you all can see just how much she loves her Elmo.

Peyton shaking up Elmo
Look at that face...so excited that Elmo is talking to her!

Earlier this week I was doing laundry so I just let Peyton crawl around the living room playing with her toys and this is how I found her...playing under her jumper. Peyton stayed under there for almost 10 minutes pulling on the ropes.

Look what I can do...

The past week as been another exciting week to watch Peyton try and do new things. Awhile back I heard my friend Carrie say she wanted her daughter Emerson to stay 10 months forever. At the time I didn't understand, but now that Peyton is 10 months I completely agree. It seems like Peyton is doing something new and different everyday.

Over the weekend I was watching Peyton learn to clap. She would put her hands together and clap a few times and then look at her hands like what did I just do. She now has clapping down and will clap at everything that makes her happy.

On Wednesday night I had Peyton's bottle ready for her, but I let her keep playing with her toys until she was ready for it. I have seen her grab and hold onto her bottle, but she would prefer that we hold it and give it to her. To see if she would grab the bottle and feed herself I placed the bottle close to her on the floor. It didn't take long before she saw it and crawled over to pick it up. She ate a little bit but then just ended up playing with it until I picked her up to give her the rest. Truthfully I love that she likes that I hold her bottle to feed her and that she doesn't want to do it herself. I just wanted to see if she would do it herself and she can.

Peyton holding onto her bottle herself

These pictures are upside down and I can change it for some reason, but this was the angle that I was looking at her while I took the picture.

I love those blue eyes

peyton being peyton

BIG NEWS to share is that Peyton sat up all by herself on Sunday night! Brandon saw her do it on Sunday and last night I saw her sit up for the first time. It is exciting times at the Yoder house these days.
Last night it was so much fun for me to just sit back and watch Peyton playing with her toys. I had to get the camera out to catch the moment to share because it was a lot of fun watching her to see what she was going to do next. She just sat there and played for a lot time and her toys were everywhere when she was all done.
Peyton was taking many toys out of the baskets, but stopped when she got to her favorite book.
Peyton playing in the middle of all of her toys.

Peyton is working on drinking from her sippy cup. She can get some of the juice out, but is having trouble tilting her head back far enough to get the rest.
Making lots of love to some cookies.
I love my banana cookies!
What is that all over my hands?

Watch Peyton show off her drinking skills with her sippy cup

Watch Peyton having fun playing with her toys. The best part of the video is when she can't decide which hand to hold onto the bag with...love it!
P.S...I know that my daughter is wearing the same outfit in these last two post and I wanted to point out that she does have more clothes that I put her in.
