Hope this makes you smile!

Peyton is our dancing fool if you have not heard me say that before. Anytime there is music playing she is dancing. She has her normal dance moves that we see a lot, but every once in awhile she will through in new moves.

This is the newest move and she likes it so I hope you do too. I love this girl so much!

Peyton...Peyton...Peyton!!!

This post is all about Peyton and what she has been doing in the past couple of weeks and some of her new developments that make Brandon and I laugh and smile all the time.
*Peyton is not walking yet, but she is working on it. She will now crawl up on her hands and knees to get around. It is funny to watch.
*She is into pointing at everything
*Her favorite word to say right now is "Hi"
*Something new this week that I love is that when we walk in the door at daycare she will say "Hi" really loud so everyone will hear her. I am thinking that she has listened to me say it for so long that now she knows that we say "Hi" when we walk in the door.
*Peyton likes to read to herself. She will open up a book and talk baby talk like she is reading. I love it!

Peyton loves to play by the window...so don't judge that I am letter her play with the cord on the blinds. We need to make them shorter I know!
This is her mini jungle gym where she likes to climb up her chair to get on the ottoman
Peyton's first baby pool!
She was so excited about the pool that she needed to get in it before we could take it outside to fill with water
I tried to get her swimming suit on her, but she was not happy about it because she wanted in the water
She had so much fun and didn't even care that it was cold water
Daddy and Peyton
My cute water baby!
Wrigley enjoying the nice weather outside while Peyton played in her pool
Most of the time Wrigley is not far from Peyton...her little bodyguard!
Big splashes!!
Peyton reading her Elmo book
If you look up in the right corner you will see that those pages on the ground are the pages in the book so we can't read it anymore.
Peyton doesn't care she will still read it even if it is upside down.
This has been Peyton's favorite toy to play with at night. She loves when the balls fly out of the top and go everywhere.
What's down there?
Happy girl!
Very excited to watch the colored balls fly out of the toy!

I have a cute video of Peyton playing with this toy, but this computer is taking forever to upload it. I will add it to another post soon! Hope you all have a great weekend!!!

Good Ending to KSU Baseball

I was lucky enough a few weeks back to travel to Houston, TX to be with Brandon and to watch K-State baseball play in their very first NCAA Regional Tournament ever. It was a great weekend for K-State and for K-State baseball history. While I was there I was able to watch 2 fantastic games that K-State won. It was hard to get on the plane and fly back home and many of the people are blaming us for leaving. If you are a baseball fan than you know that you don't mess with karma and there was good karma going on while we were there and after we left it all went down hill. It was hard to listen to the Cats lose the next 2 games on the radio and to get knocked out the NCAA tournament. It was a great season and the best in school history and all I can say is that I was so glad that we were able to be a small part of that and to watch it all.

On a last minute decision both Brandon and I thought that it would be best that Peyton stay back with Grandma and Grandpa Yoder. At first I really wanted to have her there with me, but once I got there and went to the games I was so glad that she was not there. The weather was so HOT and I was dying of sweat and it could have been worse with having to hold her during the games. I am sure that Peyton had more fun in Iowa than she would have had in Texas. So Brandon and I had another weekend of practice getting ready to leave for our trip to HI in a couple of weeks without having Peyton with us. It was a fun trip and none of the other baseball kiddos made the trip so it was even better for all of us to enjoy a little grown up time together.

Here are many pictures of the weekend!

K-State and Xavier before the first game of the NCAA Regional Tournament
The games were played at Reckling Stadium at Rice University. It was a beautiful stadium to play in and a very different view than what we are use to seeing in Manhattan.

Cats took care of business and won the first game 16-8!

Cats make history with NCAA tournament first win
Way to go Cats!
The proud K-State Baseball Wives
After the game we all got together and went out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant. Brandon and I are showing that we are doing okay without Peyton. We have already had a few margarita's in this picture...can you tell?
We all had a good laugh riding around in this minivan.
Katie and I having a little fun with Coach Bird
Brandon and Cory driving around in style
Proud wife showing that my husband did have to work that weekend

Is he faking it?
Playing under the lights and watching AJ Morris do what he does best
The ninth inning was more exciting than we would have liked but we won 7-6 and the feeling was awesome. All the Baseball Wives very excited about the Cats win!
Cats win 7-6!
Brandon and I at the Baseball NCAA Regional Tournament
I had a good laugh watching the guys stand around and watch the game tracker of the Texas game that went 25 innings
Back in Kansas and over at the Tadtman's house listening to the game on the radio and the girls are having fun looking at the dogs
Still checking out the dogs
Happy Girl!
Many reasons that this trip was so great was because it was a great way to go out with K-State Baseball. Many of you might or might not know that Brandon has accepted the position as the Head Men's Basketball trainer for K-State next year. It has been bittersweet leaving Baseball, but at the same time we are very excited for this new challenge in Brandon's career and it is a great promotion for all the hard work that he has been doing to get this chance.
We are so proud of you Brandon! Love, Kelly & Peyton
