Happy Birthday Brandon! Happy Birthday Daddy!

Happy 28th Birthday Brandon/Daddy!
Here is Daddy with the gift that Peyton got him. She said I am getting you this as long as it does not cut into our playing time.
My gift will be coming later...PS3 (and I am sure that I will be thinking...what was I thinking!?!)
We love you and hope that you had a wonderful birthday!

PEYTON!

Here are lots of very cute pictures of Peyton over that past couple of weeks. I know that I have been really bad about posting and I am sorry about that. I hope that this will help to make up!

Peyton loves to play with these soft blocks. I will put lots of different toys on the floor and almost always she will go to these blocks first to play with.
In the mouth...it never fails!

The...I didn't do it face. I think that I am going to be in trouble with this cutie.
Playing with Daddy and working on sitting up. I am not sure what this face is all about, but very funny. Peyton is a big fan of that green paper. It makes noise when you touch it and Peyton will attack it and loves it.

Flying Baby! I am sure this is Dad going here Mom come see me.

After taking a bath last night. Don't you just love that smile!?!

Dad had to get in there and get a cute picture with his baby girl.

Landscaping!

Last weekend we were going to have Peyton blessed, but with some sadness in the family my Uncle Terry and Aunt Carol Ann were unable to travel to Kansas City. We love you and want you to know that we are praying for you and your family.

Since we decided not to travel to Kansas City we took the time to landscape the front yard. Grandma Yoder came out to visit Peyton and it was great to have her here to help. The yard is going to take sometime and we are working on that so next summer it will be nice and GREEN! We are very pleased with how it all turned out, but we all really hurt the next day. Peyton was wonderful and took nice long naps on Saturday for us to get all the work done. There is still lots to do, but this is a start and the house looks more like a home.

Mount Ayr and seeing Great Grandparents

A couple of weeks ago, Peyton and I drove up to Mount Ayr, IA for her to meet her Great Grandma and Grandpa Yoder. They were so excited to see their first great grandchild for the first time. I was sad because I was getting ready when they arrived and wasn't there for their reactions to seeing her for the first time. I was told that they thought that she was so beautiful and Great Grandpa got a little emotional. It was great to be up there for the weekend and Peyton got all kinds of love from lots of family.

Audrey's birthday Party

Last Saturday was Peyton's cousin Audrey's 1st birthday, so we went to Kansas City to celebrate with everyone. It was great to see family and friends since it had been over a month and they all could not get over all the changes that Peyton has had. Audrey was a lot of fun to watch open her gifts with her parents and how much she loved the paper and ribbons more then the gifts. She was very cute how she would shake the tissue paper around like little pom poms.

Here are lots of pictures from the weekend.

Peyton with her Great Uncle Tom, cousin Sydney, and Great Grandma Horton. I love how Peyton and Grandma are looking at each other. It's very cute.
Brandon and I with the birthday girl.

Stacy and Jeremy with their birthday girl before they start opening all her gifts.

Opening up the gift that we got Audrey.

Grandma Reiff got Audrey this cute pink chair with her name on it. It's so cute Peyton needs one!

Singing Happy Birthday to the Birthday Girl!

Audrey loving her cake! I love it...she was a mess.
Group shot of all of us with our girls. Stacy and Jeremy with Audrey, Carrie and Ryan with Emerson, and Brandon and I with Peyton. They are all going to be the in the same grade growing up, so it is going to be lots of fun watching them all grow up.

Brandon and Ryan with their girls.
Grandma and Grandpa Reiff with all their grandkids. I was so excited to get a shot of all of the kids looking forward and no one is crying. This never happens and it is a great picture.
Peyton back at home and all cleaned up ready for bed.

Vote...Help us pick a Halloween costume for Peyton

Halloween is just around the corner and Brandon and I are so excited to get Peyton all dressed up, but we could use some help in picking the right costume. We both have are favorite, but of course they are different. Take a look and let me know which one you like. It's hard because they are all so cute.

Here are the 5 choices that we have picked out.

Baby Lion

Baby Monkey
Brandon really likes this one.

Teddy Bear...very cute!

Moo Cow

Baby ladybug
This is my favorite of them all.

Tagged!...6 Most Interesting Quirks about me

A couple of weeks ago I was tagged by my friend Neisha to come up with 6 interesting quirks about myself. This is a little bit of a challenge, but I'll try.

Kelly's 6 Most interesting quirks:

#1 - I am very OCD about my food. While I am eating I don't like for my food to be touching each other and I will eat one thing at a time until it is all gone and then I will move on to the next one. I normally will pick which food to eat first by what looks the best to me at that time.

#2 - I try to be very organized before we go on trips. I will type out a list of all the things that we need, don't forget and what to get when we get there. The last few times that my family and I have gone on a trip I will send one to each of them with their list of things to remember. It all sounds good, but we always seem to forget something anyways.

#3 - Growing up I have always had a hard time reading certain words like they are suppose to be said. I read them as I see them and think how they should be said. This is always a good laugh for my family and friends. So when we ever play games were you have to read questions to the group, I am usually not allowed. One of my learning disabilities that I hope I don't pass on to Peyton.

#4 - I am the slowest eater ever. Brandon's plate could be filled with more food then mine and he will still finish before I do, and he doesn't really eat that fast. Almost all of the time I will be the last person to finish my plate. I guess I just like to enjoy my food more and I like to carry on conversation while I have a meal. If I ever finish a meal before anyone else it means that I was starving for food.

#5 - I love the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs. No matter how bad things get I will always be a fan and cheer loud for them. Brandon is a huge Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. I like the Cubs, but will never cheer for the Bears!

#6 - Everyday at work I will have a bowl of Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal for breakfast. Last time I was at Sam's Club I picked up a box filled with 40 packets. I'm good for a couple of months!

Stacy, Elsa and Carrie...Tag your it!
