Peyton turned 5 months on Tuesday!

Can it be true has another month gone by? Yes, Peyton turned 5 months old on Tuesday. There are things everyday that I can tell that she is getting older and so much bigger. Whenever I have something in my hands she is always grabbing for it. If she gets it...straight into the mouth. We are working on sitting up without falling over. Still are not there yet. We are back to enjoying our baths and will sort of play with our bath toys. I would list them all, but I don't have enough time today.

When I find the other pictures I will have to put up Peyton's baby parade so you can see just how much she is changing.

Here is our very cute and adorable baby girl.

K...S...U...WILDCATS!

This past weekend was the first game of the season for K-State. This was also Peyton's first football game. She has been to tons of baseball games, but has never been to anything where the crowd was this large. Just like normal she was wonderful and just looked at everything and was not scared of the loud noises. The only time that she jumped was when she was trying to fall asleep during the end of the 3rd quarter and the loud cat noise would go off and her whole body would jolt. We ended up taking off at the start of the 4th quarter to get Peyton home and into bed and also to beat the large crowd out of the parking lot. We had a great time and it was a fun family outing. The only thing that I was not able to get was a family shot of all of us in the stadium...Next game!

Peyton and Mom tailgating a couple of hours before kickoff.

Dad and Peyton hanging out while Mom cooked the hamburgers.

Peyton's chair for tailgating. We really need to think of a better place for her then her car seat...sorry girl.

Peyton tailgating with Beth Smoller. Beth is a friend of ours from Manhattan. Brandon and I work with her husband Brian and we are so excited and can't wait until their little boy gets here in November.

Susan Lannou, Peyton and I hanging out before going into the stadium. Susan is also a friend of ours here in Manhattan and she is married to my boss Kenny.

Peyton and Daddy getting ready for the team to run out.

Peyton and Mommy watching the game. I have so many pictures of Peyton sitting like this on my lap during baseball games, so it is just natural that she would do this for football games. She just takes it all in.

We were lucky enough to get passes to go up into the suites for the second half of the game. Peyton was making us laugh because she kept pulling her dress up over her head. We were up pretty high so I hope that she is not like her father and his scared of heights and needed to cover her face.

Here is the incredible view from the suites.

Peyton and Daddy with the beautiful stadium behind them.
Going home!

I had to get a couple of cute shots of Peyton at home all geared up in her K-State attire.
We are into giving huge smiles these days. They are so much cuter is person and not so freaking looking.

Here is Peyton and Dad dancing and getting excited for the football team to take the field.

Peyton playing or eat toy

Peyton loves playing with her floor gym that Audrey is letting her borrow. If she gets in the right spot right under this orange toy rattle she tries to eat it. I have to laugh at her because it never fails that she wants to eat it. She is just to cute that I couldn't help it and had to get a video of the whole thing.

Watch Peyton play and eat her toy.

Lots of Pictures...sorry have been busy

Here are lots of pictures of Peyton over the past several weeks. Things are getting really busy at work with the first football game on Saturday, so I am sorry that I have not been able to post as often as I would like. Plus, Brandon has been really sick the past couple of days and I have not been able to get on the computer at home. Sorry that I can't go into detail about what has been going on with us, but I wanted to get the pictures up so you could see Peyton. The pictures go in order as they happened and they include pictures of our family trip to Iowa.

Peyton playing and you can see the focus on her face to get that orange rattle.

Family trip to Iowa. It was so nice to be up there with family and to enjoy the peace and quiet. We had lots of fun fishing, riding around on the 4-wheeler, and just sitting around talking with everyone. Peyton got lots of love from her Grandparents and she gave them lots of love too.

Peyton hanging out with cousin Cody. He loves her so much and they have a great time together.

Grandma Yoder getting lots of smiles out of Peyton.

Peyton looking cute in her pink overalls.
Hanging out with Grandpa Yoder watching TV. Wrigley wiped out after the fun weekend up in Iowa getting to run all over the place on the farm. Sorry Wrigley that we don't have that much land for you to run on.

Peyton also looking very tired after the car ride and getting some good cuddle time with Daddy.

Daddy reading a book to Peyton.

Clean Baby!

Peyton looks ready for her baby massage. Life is good!

Here is my troll baby...Crazy hair!

K-State has it's first Football game this Saturday, so Peyton will have her first trip to a football game. We'll take lots of pictures and I will do my best to get them posted quickly.

Peyton Update

Last Friday we had Peyton's 4 month well check-up and she is doing great. She had to get 4 more shots and she cried for 7 seconds and then was fine. I think that Dad had a harder time with it then she did. Brandon was unable to go with me the first time she had to get her shots and the exact words that came out of his mouth were "I never want to see that again!" I think that hardest thing for him was watching her face and the flinch that she gave after the first shot. Peyton is a trooper and such a tough baby.

Here are Peyton's updates:
Head: 41 1/2cm 50%
Height: 24 3/4in. 57% (She is long and lean)
Weight: 13lb 9 3/4 oz. 24%

We talked about starting her on rice cereal, but we are going to hold off until she is closer to 6 months. I was a little worried that she was too skinny, but the doctor had no problem with her weight and said that she was looking great. I have been very happy that I have not had to give Peyton any formula yet and have been able to provide enough breast milk while at daycare. Not the case on Monday. Peyton has still only wanted 4 oz. and on Monday she decided that she needed to have 7oz., so she had her first taste of formula. I was a little disappointment and felt like I let her down, but she was great and had no problems. Dirty diapers now...Wow!!

4 Month Well Check

At 1:15pm today we go to have Peyton's 4 month well check with the doctor. I am very excited to see how much she has grown and how heavy she is now. We are also going to talk about starting her on the rice cereal. It is a little scary that we are already at the point to start feeding her, but Brandon and I are excited too. Peyton also has to get 4 more shots and I am sure that she is not going to like it. She did pretty well last time, so I am hoping that she will handle it the same. She has good lungs on her now so I am not looking forward to the screams. I'll update as soon as I can.

We are heading up to Iowa to see Grandma and Grandpa Yoder this weekend and looking forward to a great weekend of relaxing by the pool.

More of Peyton!

Here are two more videos of Peyton that I was not able to post yesterday.

Peyton hanging out and talking to Daddy last week. She loves to sit in her bouncy chair and will just give us big smiles and lots of this type of talking. When she gets started it is funny because she will keep doing this over and over again. I am sure she is trying to tell us something, but there is no way to understand this language.

This a happier Peyton on Friday night before we took a bath. She is getting so good at holding her head up and is starting to use her arms more to hold her weight. Really I just love this video for the smiles that Peyton gives while I am talking to her.
