Here is the love of our lives that makes Brandon and I so happy every single day. Now who could resist this face. I think that we are going to be in trouble with this one.

I love this girl so much
Last night while hanging out with Peyton before she went to bed we caught some of her great smiles on camera. I was getting some huge smiles out of her, so I quickly had Brandon grab the camera to get a couple of great snap shots.

Sleep...Mom and Dad need sleep!!!
Last Friday we decided was a good time as any to start getting Peyton to go to sleep earlier. I would have liked to have done this earlier with her, but we have been on the road so much this summer and have not been home by ourselves and I didn't want to make anyone else have to suffer no sleep. On Friday night I was hoping to get her to go down at 8:30pm, but it was more like 9:30pm before she went to sleep. Brandon and I were both surprised and happy when we woke up at 6am and had not heard anything out of her all night. We were thinking this is great and maybe won't be so bad. Oh how wrong we were! On Saturday I was more successful in getting Peyton to fall a sleep before 9pm, but then 4am hit and Peyton was not a happy baby anymore. The same on Sunday, bang 4 am not a happy baby. Again this morning I was up at 3:34am. I have been good at letting her cry (Dad couldn't take it on Sunday and messed things up by holding her while they slept in the recliner...Mom didn't know this until I went in and saw them) I will pick her up and comfort her for a little bit until she calms down and she will take her pacifier. This only works for a couple of minutes and then the crying starts again. So the last couple of nights I have been sleeping in her room from 4am until 6am on the comfy recliner and this morning I ended up on the floor because my back was hurting so bad. I know that we will all get through this very soon and things will be wonderful again. If anyone has any suggestions or advice that worked for them I have no problems listening. Please be thinking of us while we are going through this not so fun stage.
Here are some pictures of Peyton this week.
Yesterday I can home from work to see Peyton looking wiped out. She must of had an exciting and rough day at home with Dad. We are still working on getting all the crude out of her right eye. Lots of massages everyday even if she doesn't like it.

Peyton after getting her bath last night. One of the parents from the baseball team gave this K-State Powercat bath towel with her name on it. It is so cute!

Sunglasses...Thanks it's about time!
If you have noticed from the earlier post that we didn't have sunglasses for Peyton. Well now we do! We had a choice of 2 different kinds so we went ahead and got both of them.
Peyton looking cool in her jogging stroller and ready to go out with Mom. I am running in the KC 1/2 Marathon in October and we started training on Friday. We are starting off slow and I think that it is going to take a little bit to get back to running 4 miles with ease. Doesn't Peyton look so cute!?

She looked so cute and we were so excited to get them on her that we didn't even take the sticker off.

Here are the sporty wrap arounds. I love how her face looks like "What the heck is on my face?" or I am giving you my tough stare down.

Laughs and Wiped Out
Last night while watching the Home Run Derby and playing with Peyton to get her to give us big smiles she started to laugh. She has been making some noise here and there, but nothing that is much of a laugh until last night. It was so cute and Grandma Yoder was swinging her towards Daddy and Peyton was giving huge smiles and making lots of noise. It was fun to hear.
Enjoy Peyton laughing!
After all the fun Peyton was wiped out and ready for bed.

Road Trip down to Craig's Wedding!
This past weekend we drove to Willis, Texas for our friend Craig Foster's wedding. We took off early Thursday morning and got in late that night. It took 12 hours to get there with a 2 hour stop in Dallas. Peyton was such a good traveler the entire time. She pretty much slept the whole drive. The only time that she would get fussy was when we had about an hour left of the drive and she was done being in the car. At that point Mom and Dad were done being in the car too. After we arrived it was nothing but fun for the whole weekend. Craig and Celinda got married at a Resort that was on Lake Conroe. It was a very nice place that had beautiful views of the lake and we were so happy that it had a great pool to get in because it was very hot. The Wedding was wonderful and we were very happy that we were able to be there to share it with them.
Here are lots of pictures from the weekend.
Brandon and Peyton taking a dip in the pool. The temp. was in the 90's everyday, so it was a must to get in the pool to cool off. Peyton also had her first experience of being under water and she didn't seem to mind.

Rehearsal practice. Brandon doing a great job of standing in line!

Taking in the view of the lake. It was in a great location.

Team Craig! They had shirts made for the bridal parties.

Yoder family at the rehearsal dinner. Not sure the face that Peyton is giving, but it is a good one of Mom and Dad.

Auntie Tara, Peyton and I at the rehearsal dinner.

Jubie is a friend of ours from Graceland that made it from Hawaii for the wedding. It was so great to see him again.

Celinda meeting Craig and seeing each other for the first time.

Craig and Celinda taking in a moment. They were so cute together during the whole cermony. Lots of love.

This is what Peyton did during the whole cermony. It was great!

Family shot. It was a little windy, but so beautiful with the sunset on the lake.

Aunt Stacy and cousin Audrey were also at the wedding. I love how the girls are looking at each other. We know that they are going to be such good friends.

Peyton back in the room settling down for the night. I had to get one last picture of her in her dress that Grandma Reiff got her. She looked so cute!

Driving back home to Kansas. Peyton was so tired and ready to get home.

We had a great trip and if Peyton is going to be this wonderful on road trips we are going to have to do this more often.
Today is Stacy's Birthday so we want to wish her a very Happy Birthday from all of us!

Happy 4th of July! and some...
This past weekend we went up to Iowa for the 4th of July and to show Peyton off to family and friends. It was a great extended weekend of lots of fun with the grandparents and lots of new things for Peyton to see and do.
Peyton and Wrigley are just sleeping away during the 4 hour drive.

Isn't she so cute while she sleeps? I catch myself watching her sleep all the time. I love it!

Big Smiles! I finally was fast enough with the camera to catch one of those smiles that just makes my heart melt.

Peyton's first dip in the pool. It was little cold for Mom, but Peyton had a great time kicking around in the water.

I love her bathing suit and hat. I think that is the best part about going to the pool.

Peyton out soaking up the sun. Mom needs to get her some baby sunglasses because it was just a little to bright for her to keep her eyes open.

Peyton and Dad waiting for the fireworks to get started.

Mom and Peyton on the 4th of July in our Red, White and Blue!

Peyton looking cute in her Super Star 4th of July outfit that Grandpa Yoder found the day before in town. She had another really cute matching top that looked like the American flag, but we had a little accident right before we left the house.

The Yoder family looking very festive for the 4th of July waiting for the fireworks show to get started. We went up to Creston, IA to see the show that they put on. It was great besides the "nice" people behinds us that wouldn't stop talking.

Peyton looking cute and well rested the next morning. Peyton slept very well while we were up in Iowa. I think that there was so much going on that she was so worn out. She normally never sleeps more then 6 hours and one night she slept for 10.

We had such a great weekend up in Iowa and it was so nice to spend lots of time with the family. It is always so relaxing when we go back home and great to see everyone. I know that Peyton had a great time too spending all kinds of time with her grandparents and taking lots of naps with Grandpa.
Thanks for the wonderful weekend!
We are on the road again this weekend heading down to Houston, Texas for Craig Foster's wedding. We take off Thursday morning and it will take us all day to get down there, but we are looking forward to the exciting weekend.
