Why do we buy toys?

Why do we buy toys? Peyton has lots of great toys to play with and even at Grandma and Grandpa's house there are lots to choose from to play with. Instead it is more fun to play with our bib. Peyton was being very silly before bedtime and tossed her bib around for a good 10 minutes. It gave all of us a good laugh!

Dancing...

Peyton got this dancing/singing toy chick from our friends Ryan and Natalie for her birthday. I was not sure how she was going to like it at first but she loves it. When I hit the button to make it sing and dance Peyton loves to dance along with it. Very Cute!

little steps!!

Friday after we got home from Peyton's 1 year well check I put together the walker that Brandon and I got her for her birthday. Peyton was so excited to play with her new toy that she was having a hard time waiting for me to put it together. Once I had all the parts put together I placed it on the floor and this is what Peyton did...

Happy 1st Birthday Peyton!

Happy Birthday Peyton! Mom and Dad love you very much and are so blessed to have you as our daughter. When everything else in life gets crazy we always have you to make us laugh and get us to give huge smiles. We could not have asked for a better year in our lives and we can't wait to see what the next day brings.
This morning we were all together to celebrate Peyton's 1st birthday. To pass on the family tradition I got up this morning to cook Peyton her birthday pancakes. Wow...she loved them!!!

Peyton checking out her pancakes
Too early to get a smile out of her...I know how she feels!
Maybe I should have made them a little smaller?
Size doesn't matter I will eat them anyway
Peyton really loved her pancakes
Opening up her gifts with Daddy
Peyton was a little tired this morning so she really was not into opening up her gifts...Thanks Dad for helping!!
Trying to get a family shot...This is the best we could get

Singing Happy Birthday to Peyton...I have to apologizes for my singing. Brandon would not help me out and I am not the singer in the family so you get my birthday solo.

1st Birthday Party!

We celebrated Peyton's 1st birthday a couple of weeks early so we could have all our family and friends come out to Manhattan while her Dad was in town with baseball. Brandon sadly will be leaving for out of town Thursday on her birthday with baseball for the Nebraska series:( I am just glad that he will be here in the morning to see her and that way we can celebrate as a family over breakfast.

Thank you to everyone for making the trip out to Manhattan to be there for Peyton and also for many of you it was your first time out to our house. It really meant a lot to Brandon and I that you made the drive to be there for Peyton. We could not have asked for a better day to celebrate Peyton's birthday with everyone and the weather in Manhattan was so nice all day to make it absolutely wonderful. Here are a lot of pictures from the party. It is hard to just pick a couple so hope you enjoy them all.

Blinds...Blinds...Blinds...

Peyton loves to play with the blinds at the back door. I will sit her down in the living room and she will crawl as quickly as she can to the blinds to play with.

Peyton pulling on the blinds
With a face like this it is hard to tell her No!
She would do this all night if I would let her

Watch Peyton playing with the blinds and having a great time

Welcome Baby Hadleigh!

Stacy, Jeremy and Audrey Bullcoming welcomed the newest addition to their family Wednesday, March 18th at 12:05pm. Even though she was 3 weeks early she is healthy and doing great. Brandon, Peyton and I made a quick trip to Kansas City last night to see everyone and to meet our new niece and Peyton's cousin.
Hadleigh Von Bullcoming
6lbs 14oz and 19 1/2 inches long
It is still too hard to tell but I think that Hadleigh really looks like Stacy
