Happy Easter!

Peyton loved Easter this year and had a great time hunting for eggs. I loved her dress! She looked so cute and she would make me laugh because she walked around like she was a pretty girl in it. The only bad thing that happened all day was that I bought these really cute shoes to match and they ended up giving Peyton some serious blisters. We had a small melt down on the drive home with lots of yelling "ouchy!" and crying that her feet hurt. I felt like the world's worst Mommy to give so much pain to her child for the sake of cute shoes. Note: Next time we wear those shoes we will have socks on...if we can wear them again.
I was hoping to get a good shot of her in her dress and then I realized that I have a 2 year old that won't sit still long enough to even want to smile for the camera. So here are the best shots that I could get of her that day. We are going to have her pictures taken in this dress so hopefully we can get something then.

Peyton with her cousin Maddy. Peyton's face makes me wonder what she is thinking.
Checking out her Easter Basket
So excited to see what the Easter Bunny brought for her.
The Hunt is on...

She filled her basket once so we had to dump the eggs out so she could find more. I think that we had over 50+ eggs for 3 kids.

Birthday Party with the Yoder's

This past weekend we went up to Iowa to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa Yoder. Uncle Drew was also in town, so it was a great weekend to hang out with everyone and to celebrate Peyton's birthday with all of them.
Peyton loves being on the farm and getting to ride the tracker with Grandpa. She ask all the time to ride in the tracker and see the cows. She also got to see her first baby calf being born. It was quite the experience and all she can say about it was "Cow pooping" and "Yucky" I don't know if this was such a good thing to show her...
We also had a big weekend with Peyton. NO MORE PACIFIER! Both Brandon and I have been telling her that when she turns 2 that it would be going away. What seems to be working is that we tell her that the baby calf needed it...and it seems to be working. She has not had it since Friday night and is doing really well without it. She has not used it at Daycare for months, but fighting us at home to have it. I think that we have finally got rid of the plug...fingers crossed!
After a long day of working on the farm Saturday we were able to celebrate Peyton's birthday that night. She was so much fun and would get so excited with every gift that she would open.
Peyton with Grandpa Yoder getting ready to celebrate her birthday
Singing "Happy Birthday!"
Getting ready to blow out the candles. She was able to blow one candle out, but needed help with the other one.
Opening Gifts!
She loved her backpack and would not take it off
Getting help from Grandpa Yoder to open her gifts
She got lots of clothes...Thank goodness because she needs clothes for this Spring Time weather

Books! She loves her books
Grandpa Yoder reading her one of her new books about babies
Grandma and Grandpa Yoder gave her $100!
Checking out her $100 Bill...AND
This is why you don't let a 2 year old hold money! It was too funny and we all just had to laugh when she just pulled on the bill and it split into two.
Birthday Cake! Peyton would let us know that she had a "Happy Birthday Cake!"
Very excited about something
Silly Girl!

Peyton had a great Birthday and is still talking about that it is her birthday and birthday cake. Good thing this girl is going to have a birthday month of celebrating. We head to Kansas City this weekend to celebrate with Grandma and Grandpa Reiff and the rest of the family.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEYTON!

Happy 2nd Birthday to Peyton!
Brandon and I have been so blessed for the past 2 years to have Peyton Allison in our lives. She is such a joy and makes us so proud to be her parents.
Birthday Pancakes!
Takes after her mother and is not a morning person...
The best attempt I could get of a smile. She was very happy that it is her birthday and to eat pancakes, but I am sure that she would have rather still been in bed.
Tired girl...
Opening her birthday gift...birthday pj's!
I was cutting her pancakes into smaller pieces, but way do that when you can just pick up the whole thing and eat it.
This girl loves her pancakes!
I have a couple of really cute videos of Peyton, but my computer is taking too long to post them. I'll try again later tonight.
This is going to be birthday month for Peyton so there will be many more birthday pictures to post. Keep Watch!

Woodmansee Daycare Easter Egg Hunt

Yesterday was the big Easter Egg Hunt at Peyton's daycare. I took off of work a little early to be there to watch Peyton and all the other kids. Peyton loved it and had so much fun! She knew just what to do this year and filled her basket quickly with eggs.

Getting the kids lined up
Peyton picking up some of the eggs that she found.
She was so cute and would get so excited when she saw an egg and would run as fast as she could to go get it to put in her basket.
All the kids searching for eggs
Peyton found another egg!

We had a real Easter Bunny join us for the Easter Egg Hunt! If you look close you will see it in the background.
Peyton still so excited when we got home about the Easter Egg Hunt!

Watching her yesterday made me very excited to see her do this all over again this weekend for Easter. Maybe we will have to hide the eggs a couple of times and let her have fun searching.

March Madness!

March Madness is correct it is MADNESS! It has been a very exciting 3 weeks of craziness following the Wildcats through the Big 12 Tournament and than on to the Elite 8. Peyton was a trooper and had a great time watching the Cats. Travel was easy and we wish that we were starting to pack our bags for Indy, but it is also good to be home. We could not be more PROUD of the K-State Wildcats and the success of the team this year. It was so great to be apart of it all. Brandon could not have asked for a better year to start working with the basketball team and he is looking forward to many more years of success.
Here are many pictures from the last 3 weeks.

She did such a good job and Brandon and I were so proud of our little girl.
Checking outside the window while in flight
We had a full day on Wednesday to figure out what we could do to keep all the kids busy. The basketball staff has 15 kids and counting, so we are quite the large group. So on Wednesday we took 13 of the kids to this place called Discovery Gateway to get out of the hotel and have some fun. Here are some of the kids waiting to get on the light rail.
Peyton and Mommy riding on what she called the "Choo Choo" she could see it from the hotel window and would get very excited.
Peyton had a great time playing. I think that we were there for almost 3 hours before heading to lunch. It was a good choice for the kids.

The water was the best part and Peyton stayed there for a long time.

Well we all know what happened. It was very disappointing, but we were still very proud of the guys and the roller coaster ride they took us on all year.
Leaving SLC back to Manhattan

Loved the mountains and Peyton kept telling us that she sees "Mountains...See Mountains"
Headed home and ready to fall asleep for the flight home.

It was so nice getting off the plane to an airport full of K-State fans. We love the K-State pride!
