Yoder Look-alike Meter

My sister did this on her blog so I thought that I would try it out. It is a little bit of a shocker. I guess I need to think that Peyton looks more like me, but I still think that she is all her Daddy.

Road Trip down to Craig's Wedding!

This past weekend we drove to Willis, Texas for our friend Craig Foster's wedding. We took off early Thursday morning and got in late that night. It took 12 hours to get there with a 2 hour stop in Dallas. Peyton was such a good traveler the entire time. She pretty much slept the whole drive. The only time that she would get fussy was when we had about an hour left of the drive and she was done being in the car. At that point Mom and Dad were done being in the car too. After we arrived it was nothing but fun for the whole weekend. Craig and Celinda got married at a Resort that was on Lake Conroe. It was a very nice place that had beautiful views of the lake and we were so happy that it had a great pool to get in because it was very hot. The Wedding was wonderful and we were very happy that we were able to be there to share it with them.

Here are lots of pictures from the weekend.

Brandon and Peyton taking a dip in the pool. The temp. was in the 90's everyday, so it was a must to get in the pool to cool off. Peyton also had her first experience of being under water and she didn't seem to mind.

Rehearsal practice. Brandon doing a great job of standing in line!

Taking in the view of the lake. It was in a great location.

Team Craig! They had shirts made for the bridal parties.

Yoder family at the rehearsal dinner. Not sure the face that Peyton is giving, but it is a good one of Mom and Dad.

Auntie Tara, Peyton and I at the rehearsal dinner.

Jubie is a friend of ours from Graceland that made it from Hawaii for the wedding. It was so great to see him again.

Celinda meeting Craig and seeing each other for the first time.

Craig and Celinda taking in a moment. They were so cute together during the whole cermony. Lots of love.

This is what Peyton did during the whole cermony. It was great!

Family shot. It was a little windy, but so beautiful with the sunset on the lake.

Aunt Stacy and cousin Audrey were also at the wedding. I love how the girls are looking at each other. We know that they are going to be such good friends.

Peyton back in the room settling down for the night. I had to get one last picture of her in her dress that Grandma Reiff got her. She looked so cute!

Driving back home to Kansas. Peyton was so tired and ready to get home.

We had a great trip and if Peyton is going to be this wonderful on road trips we are going to have to do this more often.

Today is Stacy's Birthday so we want to wish her a very Happy Birthday from all of us!

Happy 4th of July! and some...

This past weekend we went up to Iowa for the 4th of July and to show Peyton off to family and friends. It was a great extended weekend of lots of fun with the grandparents and lots of new things for Peyton to see and do.

Peyton and Wrigley are just sleeping away during the 4 hour drive.

Isn't she so cute while she sleeps? I catch myself watching her sleep all the time. I love it!

Big Smiles! I finally was fast enough with the camera to catch one of those smiles that just makes my heart melt.

Peyton's first dip in the pool. It was little cold for Mom, but Peyton had a great time kicking around in the water.

I love her bathing suit and hat. I think that is the best part about going to the pool.

Peyton out soaking up the sun. Mom needs to get her some baby sunglasses because it was just a little to bright for her to keep her eyes open.

Peyton and Dad waiting for the fireworks to get started.

Mom and Peyton on the 4th of July in our Red, White and Blue!

Peyton looking cute in her Super Star 4th of July outfit that Grandpa Yoder found the day before in town. She had another really cute matching top that looked like the American flag, but we had a little accident right before we left the house.

The Yoder family looking very festive for the 4th of July waiting for the fireworks show to get started. We went up to Creston, IA to see the show that they put on. It was great besides the "nice" people behinds us that wouldn't stop talking.

Peyton looking cute and well rested the next morning. Peyton slept very well while we were up in Iowa. I think that there was so much going on that she was so worn out. She normally never sleeps more then 6 hours and one night she slept for 10.

We had such a great weekend up in Iowa and it was so nice to spend lots of time with the family. It is always so relaxing when we go back home and great to see everyone. I know that Peyton had a great time too spending all kinds of time with her grandparents and taking lots of naps with Grandpa.

Thanks for the wonderful weekend!

We are on the road again this weekend heading down to Houston, Texas for Craig Foster's wedding. We take off Thursday morning and it will take us all day to get down there, but we are looking forward to the exciting weekend.

Peyton rolling over!

Here is Peyton showing off her rolling skills. She started doing this right after she turned 2 months old. Brandon and I are on constant watch since she loves to rollover all the time. The problem now is that she loves to rollover, but hates when she gets on her belly and is stuck there. It becomes a game now that Peyton will rollover and then she gets mad and we put her on her back and then she will rollover again. We are very excited with the growth that Peyton is showing and it is great to see her rolling over and hold her head up high. Now we are working on rolling onto our belly and back over onto our back. Peyton has done this once, but we have not seen it happen again.

Peyton playing with her farm animals

While we were in Mount Ayr, IA over the 4th of July visiting Brandon's parents and Peyton's Grandparents, Peyton ended up getting a new toy. Grandpa Yoder wanted to get something for Peyton that she could sit up and play in, so while Grandma Yoder and I were in town we picked up this fun farm animal toy. We had to put a blanket behind her to tuck her in tight, but she had a lot of fun and was reaching out for all the animals in front of her. We all had a great time watching her play. Not as much fun putting it together.

Grandma Yoder and I putting the toy together.

Peyton's little feet hanging and just touching.

Having fun playing.

Grandma watching and soaking up all of Peyton's cuteness.

Peyton turns 3 Months old today!

Peyton Allison turned 3 months today. She had a great day hanging out with her Dad. Brandon has been home with her this whole week and he is enjoying every bit of it. Since Peyton was born during the middle of baseball season, Brandon was gone a lot, but he is making up for it now by taking 3 weeks off of work to spend some good quality time with her. It does not seem possible that 3 months have already gone by, but it is fun getting to watch all the new things that Peyton is starting to be able to do. That's a whole other post. So here is lots of pictures of our baby girl at 3 months. Isn't she getting so big?!

Peyton at 3 months!

I am not very happy Mom to be taking these pictures. I'd rather be eating.

No smiles just blowing bubbles.

I am getting really good at seeing that there is something in front of me and I am reaching out to grab for them now. So I think that I will just hold on to Miss Bear while Mom just keeps taking my picture.

Are we done yet? Yes Peyton girl we are.

We are all very excited because we are going up to Iowa to see everyone over the 4th. This will be Peyton's first trip and there are lots of people who can't wait to see her.

Happy 4th of July and be safe everyone!!!!

Peyton's 1 month pictures

I know that these are really late in posting since Peyton turns 3 months tomorrow, but I thought that I would share them with you all. Last weekend while we were in Kansas City we had Peyton's 3 month pictures taken and some family pictures done as well. I will post those as soon as I get them in later this month.
