More Christmas and Happy New Year

Here is the latest update from Christmas and New Years
Yoder Family Christmas at our house.

These are backwards, but this is Peyton unwrapping her toy. She enjoyed eating the paper more than unwrapping it.
I have been a little out of order with this post, but now things will run through as they should. The Yoder family Christmas happened after New Years.

The Friday after Christmas we got together with some of our good friends from college and there kids. Here is a shot of all the kids together and Peyton was not a happy camper because she was ready for her bottle.

I love Emerson's face in this picture and poor Peyton is just not happy
Happy Peyton later in the night playing with Carter's Elmo and loving it
A few of the kids hanging out on the blanket playing with all the toys
Group shot of the Yoders, Hoyts, Bullcomings & Woods
It was great seeing all of you and fun to get the kids together.
On our way back home we had to make a stop in Topeka when we found out our good friends Scott and Shana were going to be there. It was great to see them even though it was not long enough. We miss you guys and can't wait until June for the wedding!
Cute picture of Peyton with Shana

Back home Peyton was having a good time playing with some of her new toys and Wrigley had to snuggle up close to hang out with her too.
It makes me so happy to see that these two get along so well with each other
Happy New Year Everyone!!!!

Happy 9 Months Peyton!

Peyton turned 9 months on Friday!
What PEYTON is up to these days:
* Not crawling yet, but will roll all over the place to get what she wants.
* Bottom right tooth is making its way through and it looks like we might be getting more teeth in the near future.
* Started to feed herself finger foods.
* I have seen her clap a few times, but I don't think that she knows that is what she is doing.
Here is our cutie in her new outfit from Aunt Stacy and Uncle Jeremy for Christmas!
Sweet grin...

Last weekend in Kansas City

Last weekend Peyton and I went to Kansas City to spend some time with my family since we needed to pick Brandon up at the airport on Sunday night. It turned out to be a great weekend and we packed it full of lots of activities. On Saturday morning we took all the little kids to have their Christmas pictures taken in their matching outfits. All of the Mom's along with Grandma went and we ended up getting some wonderful pictures of all of us together. The kiddos did a great job and behaved very well for the whole 2 hours that we were there. Later on Saturday night we made our traditional Christmas Cookies at my parents. Then on Sunday we went over to my Grandparents for their Christmas Open House for lunch and Peyton had the chance to meet Santa for the first time. After the lunch we had a small celebration with the rest of the family for my birthday. It was a great weekend and I was happy that Peyton and I were able to be apart of it with everyone.

SANTA!!!!!
I was not sure how Peyton was going to act for the first time meeting Santa, but she was fine. She just looked up at him and then turned around and gave us a smile.

Office Tree...Peyton Pictures...27

This year I decided that I was going to get a tree to decorate the office. We have had to cut out a lot of things that we normally do during the Holiday season because of budget cuts, so instead of letting it get us done this Christmas season we get to come into work everyday and see this beautiful K-State Christmas tree. Since I have taken these pictures there have been some addition such as fake purple presents under the tree and a big bow onto of the tree. I was very happy with how it turned out and we have had lots of people throughout the athletic department come down to take a look at our tree that everyone is talking about. Once I have all of the Christmas decorations up in my house I will take pictures to share. I am so excited because we have a real Christmas tree and it is our first tree ever!

This is my view everyday at work.
On Monday we were having my office Christmas party with our student workers before they all start taking their finals and head out of town. While getting Peyton ready I couldn't resist taking a picture of how cute she looked.

All dressed and ready to go...

Peyton was taking a nap yesterday and it was so cute seeing her all cuddled up with her dog blanket before I took it out of the crib.

I turned 27 yesterday!!!!
It was a great day because I took off work and we all went to Kansas City to shop and have dinner with my family at the Legends. Brandon was flying out of town so it was a good reason to take off work and to do whatever we wanted to do yesterday.

It was a great Birthday and I thanks everyone for the good wishes. Just as I think that Peyton is growing too fast I think that the years could slow done for me too!
